I sat across the table from her and added some cereal to the bowl of chocolate milk my mom had set out for me. Usually, I eat breakfast on my own, but that day my little sister Aurora was already up, sullenly dunking cookies in her milk while watching cartoons on TV.Īurora didn’t answer when I wished her good morning, like she didn’t even hear me. I hope it never happens, but one day you might kick yourself for not believing me. You could end up in dangerous and terrifying situations like the ones I found myself in and maybe some of the things I write about will help you. And it might get really crazy so just try to stick with it, because who knows what the future has in store for us. Seriously, all this stuff I’m going to tell you about? It really happened. If I were in your shoes, I would probably feel that way, too.īut believe me, it’s not like that at all. In other words, that everything I wrote is a lot of baloney. My name is Achille Chiorri, I’m twelve years old and I wasn’t very good at composition in school, so I never would have thought I’d be capable of writing anything much longer than a couple of pages without having a total brain meltdown.īut here I am, my fingers whizzing over the keyboard, churning out pages and pages about all the things that have happened to me, and the amazing adventures I’ve had.
